He's a Kamaitachi; a yōkai from Japanese folklore! Basically they're ascended weasels, usually armed with Kamas (sickles), that control and ride the wind. They cut and then heal their prey to drink their blood. They generally aren't well regarded. Sometimes you see them portrayed as cute weasels sometimes as monstrous looking weasels. I asked her what one would look like in the SkinDeep universe so that's why he has a t-shirt.
